Transmission Oil
Always check and change the transmission oil at t he intervals outlined
in the Periodic Maintenance Chart beginning on page 74. We
recommend the use of Polaris P remium AGL Synthetic Gearcase
Lubricant. See page 117 for t he part numbers of Polaris products.
Oil Check
The transmission fill plug (1) is located on the left side of the ATV,
under the rear fender, behind the wheel.
1. Position the vehicle on a level surface.
2. Remove the fill plug.
3. Add the recommended oil as needed to bring the level to the
bottom of the fill plug hole threads.
4. Reinstall the fill plug. Torque to 20-25 ft. l bs. (27-34 Nm).
