Operating the camera from the PC
If the camera is connected to the computer, you can use the
PDC-2000 software to control the camera with the mouse
and the keyboard, and you can display a “live” viewfinder
image on your computer screen. This is useful if you use the
camera in a studio or other stationary setting.
To take pictures using the computer:
1 Connect the camera to your computer. If necessary, see
Connecting the camera to your PC on page 23.
2 Turn on the camera by pressing the Power button (a).
3 Turn on your computer.
4 Start your TWAIN compliant or plug-in compatible
application, or start PDC-2000 Direct.
