• Setting the Picture Resolution and Quality
Picture resolution refers to the number of
pixels in a digital picture. Picture quality
depends on the JPEG le compression that
the camera applies when the picture is taken.
Higher resolution and less compression make
better quality but occupies more memory
space. Smaller size pictures and normal
quality are easier to email while larger size
and ne quality are better for printing.
1. Turn on the camera and set the camera to
Capture mode.
2. Press the
button.
3. Press the up or down button to select the
Resolution option from the REC menu.
4. Press the right button to access the
Resolution submenu.
5. Press the up or down button to select the
resolution you need.
6. Press the
button to conrm your
choice. The camera returns to the Capture
mode.
7. Press the
button again to access the
REC menu.
8. Press the up or down button to select the
Quality option.
9. Press the right button to access the
Quality submenu.
10. Select the quality setting you need.
11. Press the
button to conrm, or press
the
button to cancel.
