Getting to know your Polycom 550 phone
1. Message Waiting Indicator—This will alert you to incoming calls, new messages, and other events.
2. Navigation Keys—Used to navigate through menus.
3. Feature Keys
a. Menu— Access various menus and features
b. Messages—Quickly access your voicemail.
c. Do Not Disturb—Turn on/off DND
d. Directories
e. Applications
f. Conference
g. Transfer
h. Redial
4. Mute Button—Mute or un-mute microphone.
5. Headset Button—Direct call to optional headset.
6. Speaker Phone Microphone—Place your phone on a hard flat surface for best results.
7. Speaker Phone Button—Direct call to speaker phone
8. Volume Button.—Adjust volume for ringer, speakerphone, handset, or headset.
9. Number Key Pad.
10. Soft Keys—Buttons that change depending on call status/menu navigation.
11. Hold Button—Place an active call on hold, or take call off hold.
12. Speaker
13. Hook Switch
14/15/16.Extension/Line Icons—Displays icon based on current status of lines.
