Caution! Failure to use all four screws to attach the EF2211/
EF2210 to the rack may result in uneven loading and
cause a safety hazard.
Caution! Ensure that the power supply is securely located such
that it cannot become dislodged and fall. Such a fall
could cause personal injury or equipment failure.
Caution! When mounting a EF2211/EF2210 in a rack, consider-
ation should be given to airflow and operating ambi-
ent temperatures inside the rack. To ensure safe
operation of the EF2211/EF2210, ambient operating
temperatures inside the rack should not exceed 40
degrees Celsius. Allow 2 inches (51mm) of open space
in front of the EF2211/EF2210, 2 inches (51mm) on
either side, and 4 inches (102 mm) behind the unit for
proper ventilation. Equipment should not be installed
in the rack in such a way as to interfere with the venti-
lation of the EF2211/EF2210.
Caution! Consideration should be given to the connection of
the equipment to the supply circuit and the effect that
overloading of circuits could have an overcurrent pro-
tection and supply wiring. Appropriate consideration
of equipment nameplate ratings should be used when
addressing this concern.
Caution! Reliable earthing of rack-mounted equipment should
be maintained. Particular attention should be given to
supply connections other than direct connection to
the Branch (use of power strips).
