When lifting the soft starter using a crane, first gradually lift the wires until they become taugh. The use of
spreaders is recommended. Lift the SS up or down slowly. At the time of placing the SS on the floor, stop
lowering it just before reaching the floor and then slowly lower it on the floor to avoid any shock
