      If the master gate closes completely before the slave gate, and the flashing light blinks rapidly for five seconds, cut off both the AC input power and the battery output. Manually release both the master and slave gates. Then, by hand, fully open the master gate and fully close the slave gate. Finally, restore power to the unit by reconnecting the AC and battery terminals.
