Route the cable assembly
The cable is wrapped in packing material and attached to the equipment frame for
shipment. Proper cable routing is shown in the following figure.
Check that the cable is properly routed on the movement frame.
The 1/2-20 cable bolt must be inserted with a minimum gap of .375 inches (9.5
mm) and a maximal gap of .938 inches (24 mm) as shown in the figure below.
Tighten to 50 ft-lb (68 N-m).
Note You will need to adjust the tension on the cable after it is attached to the
weight tower
To route the cable on the movement frame:
1. Using a #2 Phillips bit, remove the pulley covers and screws.
2. Route the cable around the pulleys and then replace the pulley covers and
hardware.
3. Tighten the hardware to 10 in-lb (1 N-m) of torque.
