Control Solution Testing
Our control solutions contain a known amount of glucose that reacts
with test strips and is used to ensure that the meter and test strips are
working together correctly.
Test strips, control solutions, or sterile lancets may not be included in
thekit(pleasecheckthecontentsonyourproductbox).Theycanbe
purchased separately. Please make sure you have all items prior to
testing your blood glucose.
Test with a control solution when:
● youfirstreceivethemeter,
● youfirstreceivethemeter.
● youdoyourweeklyroutinequalitytestingofthemeterandteststrips.
● youbeginusinganewvialofteststrips.
● yoususpectthemeterandorteststripsarenotworkingcorrectly.
● yourbloodglucosetestresultsarenotconsistentwithhowyoufeel,or
if you think the results are not accurate.
● youarepracticingthetestingprocedure.
● youhavedroppedorthinkyoumayhavedamagedthemeter.
