9.5 Possible Errors

Possible Reasons
Values are lower than expected. • The absorber is wet / Dry the absorber
• The absorber is exposed to a strong air
stream.
• The absorber is in contact with a metal
surface.
• The absorber was moved during the mea-
surement (type 01p and 002p).
Values are higher than expected. • Dierence between the set irradiation time at
the PocketMonitor and the actual irradiation
time by means of the laser.
The display shows 100Watt instead of
3000Watt (as expected).
• The temperature button was accidentally
pushed after the measurement. Now the
temperature is displayed; normally approx. 70
to 120°C.
