      Diane BoydAug 16, 2025
If you're seeing blurry or grainy images from your Printware Printer, it could be due to a few reasons. First, partially clogged nozzles may be the culprit, so try cleaning or replacing the printhead. Second, the media you're using might not be compatible, so switch to inkjet suitable media. Finally, the image you're sending to the printer could be low quality, so use high-quality graphics that are compatible with your software.

      Alexander MartinAug 19, 2025
If you are experiencing mixed, mottled, muddy, or distorted colors with your Printware Printer, it may be due to ink color channel mixing within the printhead cartridge or nozzles. Refer to “Printhead Cartridge Conditioning”. Do NOT open Print Engine to angle greater than 60º. Use inkjet suitable media. Make sure the table that the printer is placed on is level. Ensure you power down the printer using the ON/OFF button before switching off the Main Power Switch.

What to do if my Printware Printer has clogged nozzles?
    • J
      James ColonAug 28, 2025
If your Printware Printer has clogged nozzles, it could be due to printhead nozzle dehydration or partial contamination. Try running “Full Clean Printhead” from the Toolbox. You can also manually clean the printhead nozzles using distilled water and a lint-free cloth. Alternatively, consider replacing the printhead cartridge. Leaving the print engine powered-up when not in use, so it can perform automatic maintenance routines, may also help.

      Adam WaltersAug 31, 2025
If you're experiencing color mixing issues with your Printware Printer, where ink from one color channel crosses over into another, ensure the printer is on a sturdy, level table. Also, perform a “Printhead Cartridge Conditioning” routine. Leaving the print engine powered-up when not in use, so it can perform automatic maintenance routines, may also help. Avoid lifting the print engine to an angle greater than 60º. If the issue persists, contact a service person to clean or replace the Service Station.

Why is my Printware iJet Press leaking ink from the printhead nozzles?
    • E
      elliottbridgetSep 3, 2025
Ink leaking from the printhead nozzles of your Printware Printer can occur if the Print Engine was opened to an angle greater than 60º, so avoid this. Ensure the table the printer is placed on is sturdy and level. Also, excessive back-pressure within the ink system, caused by powering down the print engine when not in use, can be a factor; allow the print engine to remain powered-up, when not in use, so it can routinely cycle the pinch valve to equalize back-pressure in the system.

How to fix air in the printhead nozzle of Printware Printer?
    • J
      James MitchellSep 6, 2025
To address air in the printhead nozzle area of your Printware Printer, try running “Full Clean Printhead” from the Toolbox. You can also release the Printhead using the “Release Printhead” button and then close the printhead latch to reprime the system. Instead of powering the printer off, when not in use, leave the print engine powered-up, so it can perform automatic maintenance routines. Also, don’t lift the print engine to an angle greater than 60º.

What to do if Printware Printer system will not prime the printhead?
    • A
      Ashley JacksonSep 9, 2025
If your Printware Printer system won't prime the printhead after installing a new cartridge, several issues could be the cause. If the printhead nozzles are dry, wet them using distilled water and a wet, lint-free cloth. Check for any obstruction in the capping station, such as the Envelope Printing Attachment. Inspect ink tubes for pinches or kinks. Replace Ink Tanks, if they may not have enough ink in them to prime the system, or if there is an Ink Tank Issue. If the printhead ink channels are clogged, replace the printhead. If the Toolbox displays …Low_Ink or Ink_Out… message, or Ink_Error or Ink Valve Error, or there is Damaged Ink Coupling (revolver), contact Service Support.
