      If your Pro-Form Treadmill isn't turning on, ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a surge suppressor, which itself should be plugged into a grounded outlet. For AFCI-equipped outlets that trip the circuit breaker, consider purchasing an arc filter. Also, check that the key is properly inserted into the console. Finally, examine the power switch on the treadmill frame; if it's protruding, reset it by waiting five minutes and then pressing it back in.

      If your Pro-Form Treadmill shuts off during use, first check the power switch. Ensure the power cord is fully plugged in; if it is, unplug it, wait five minutes, and plug it back in. Additionally, remove and reinsert the key from the console. If the issue persists, please see the front cover of this manual.

    How to adjust walking belt on Pro-Form Treadmill if it is off-center or slips?

      If the walking belt on your Pro-Form Treadmill is off-center or slips, first remove the key and unplug the power cord. For an off-center belt shifted to the left, use a hex key to turn the left idler roller screw clockwise 1/2 turn; if shifted to the right, turn it counterclockwise 1/2 turn, being careful not to overtighten. If the belt slips, turn both idler roller screws clockwise 1/4 turn. Correct tightness allows lifting each edge of the belt 2 to 3 inches off the platform.

      If the incline on your Pro-Form Treadmill isn't changing correctly, hold down the Stop button and the Speed increase button, insert the key into the console, and then release both buttons. Press the Stop button, then press either the Incline increase or decrease button. The treadmill should rise to its maximum incline and then return to the minimum, recalibrating the incline system. If calibration doesn't start, press the Stop button again, followed by the Incline increase or decrease button again.

      If the walking belt on your Pro-Form Treadmill slows down when you walk on it, ensure you are using a surge suppressor that meets the specifications described on page 17. Also, if the walking belt is overtightened, it can decrease performance and damage the belt. To correct this, remove the key and unplug the power cord, then use a hex key to turn both idler roller screws counterclockwise 1/4 of a turn. Repeat until the walking belt is centered.
