      If your Pro-Form Treadmill isn't turning on, ensure the power cord is plugged into a surge suppressor, and the surge suppressor is plugged into a grounded outlet. Also, verify the key is inserted into the console. Check the power switch on the treadmill frame; if it's protruding, wait five minutes, then press it back in.

Ensure the power cord is securely plugged in; if it is, unplug it, wait five minutes, and plug it back in. Also, try removing and reinserting the key from the console.

      To recalibrate the incline on your Pro-Form Treadmill, hold down the Stop button and the Speed increase button. While holding them, insert the key into the console, then release both buttons. Next, press the Stop button, followed by either the Incline increase or decrease button.

      If the walking belt on your Pro-Form Treadmill slows down when you walk on it, it might be overtightened, which can decrease performance and damage the belt. Remove the key and unplug the power cord. Use a hex key to turn both idler roller screws counterclockwise 1/4 of a turn. Plug the power cord back in, insert the key, and run the treadmill for a few minutes. Repeat this process until the walking belt is properly tightened.
