How to fix Pro-Form PFTL57721.1 Treadmill if the power does not turn on?
    • L
      Laurie WilliamsonAug 10, 2025
First, ensure the power cord is properly plugged into a surge suppressor, and that the surge suppressor is connected to a grounded outlet. If you are using an AFCI-equipped outlet and the circuit breaker trips, consider purchasing an arc filter. Also, make sure the key is fully inserted into the console. Finally, check the power switch located on the treadmill frame. If it's protruding, wait five minutes, then press it back in to reset it.

Why is the walking belt off-center or slipping on my Pro-Form PFTL57721.1 Treadmill?
    • E
      Eric RushAug 21, 2025
If the walking belt is off-center on your Pro-Form Treadmill, remove the key and unplug the power cord first. If the belt is shifted left, turn the left idler roller screw clockwise 1/2 turn. If it's shifted right, turn it counterclockwise 1/2 turn. Avoid overtightening. Plug the cord back in, insert the key, and walk for a few minutes, repeating until centered. If the belt slips, remove the key and unplug the cord. Turn both idler roller screws clockwise 1/4 turn. You should be able to lift each edge of the belt 2 to 3 inches. Keep the belt centered, plug the cord in, insert the key, and walk for a few minutes, repeating until properly tightened.

      dpinedaAug 27, 2025
If the walking belt on your Pro-Form Treadmill slows down when you walk on it, ensure you are using a surge suppressor that meets all requirements. If the walking belt is too tight, remove the key, unplug the power cord, and turn both idler roller screws counterclockwise 1/4 turn. When properly tightened, you should be able to lift each edge of the belt 2 to 3 inches off the platform. Keep the belt centered, plug in the power cord, insert the key, and walk for a few minutes, repeating until properly tightened. Note that your treadmill belt is coated with high-performance lubricant; do not apply silicone spray or other substances unless instructed by an authorized service representative.
