If the Pro-Form Treadmill's power does not turn on, ensure the power cord is plugged into a properly earthed outlet. Also, make sure the key is inserted into the console and check the power switch on the treadmill frame. If the switch protrudes, it has tripped; wait five minutes, then press it back in to reset it.

If the walking belt on your Pro-Form Treadmill slips when walked on, first remove the key and unplug the power cord. Then, use a hex key to turn both idler roller screws clockwise, 1/4 of a turn. The walking belt should be tight enough that you can lift each edge 2 to 3 inches (5 to 7 cm) off the walking platform, while keeping it centered.
