      Cheryl JohnsonSep 12, 2025
If the burner(s) on your Procom Gas Heater won't light after the ODS/pilot is lit, the burner orifice might be clogged or the burner orifice diameter might be too small. Clean the burner orifice or replace it. Also, the inlet gas pressure might be too low.

How to fix no spark at ODS/pilot on Procom BLUE FLAME MNSD100TBA Gas Heater?
    • J
      joshua79Sep 9, 2025
If there's no spark at the ODS/pilot when you press the ignitor button on your Procom Gas Heater, it could be due to several reasons. The ignitor electrode might be positioned wrong or broken, in which case you should replace the pilot assembly. Alternatively, the ignitor electrode might not be connected to the ignitor cable, or the cable could be broken, requiring replacement of the ignitor cable. The ignitor cable could also be pinched or wet; ensure it's free from any metal or tubing and kept dry. Lastly, the piezo ignitor itself might be bad and need replacement.

Why does the pilot light go out when I release the control knob on my Procom Heater?
    • A
      Alicia BerryAug 25, 2025
If the ODS/pilot light of your Procom Heater lights but the flame goes out when you release the control knob, consider the following: * Ensure the control knob is fully pressed in. * After the ODS/pilot lights, keep the control knob pressed in for 30 seconds. * Make sure the equipment shutoff valve is fully open. * Check the thermocouple connection at the control valve and hand tighten it until it's snug, then tighten it an additional 1/4 turn. * The pilot flame may not be touching the thermocouple. Contact your local natural or propane/LP gas company, or clean/replace the ODS/pilot assembly. * The thermocouple could be damaged and may need replacing. * The control valve might be damaged, requiring replacement.

What to do if Procom BLUE FLAME MNSD100TBA spark at ODS/pilot but no ignition?
    • H
      Hannah SheaSep 7, 2025
If there's a spark but no ignition in your Procom Gas Heater, several factors could be at play. First, ensure the gas supply is on and the equipment shutoff valve is open. Confirm that the control knob is fully pressed in while you're pressing the ignitor button and that the knob is in the PILOT position. If the unit was recently installed, air in the gas lines might be the issue; continue holding down the control knob and repeat the ignition process until the air is purged. Other potential causes include a clogged ODS/pilot (which may require cleaning or replacement), incorrect inlet gas pressure (or a damaged inlet regulator), or a depleted propane gas supply. In the latter case, you should contact your local propane gas company.
