WHAT IS ESPRESSO ?
Espresso originated in Italy. It is made by forcing out
a small amount of nearly boiling water under pressure
through nely ground coee beans. It is known as a
shot and is intense in avour.
1. Lift the water tank from the appliance.
2. Fill the water tank with fresh cold water between the MAX and MIN level
lines.
3. Close the water tank cover and place it back in the appliance ensuring it ts
tightly.
4. Place the 1 or 2 cup lter into the lter holder depending on how many
shots of espresso you would like.
5. Fill the lter with fresh, ne ground espresso coee (do not overll).

1. Use the measuring spoon to measure
ground espresso coee and add to the
lter holder.
For one cup, ll the lter with a level
measure of coee (approx. 7g).
For two cups, ll the lter with two
level measures of coee.
2. Use the at side of the measuring spoon to
tamp down the coee evenly.
To obtain a strong coee, tamp down
the coee rmly.
To obtain a lighter coee, tamp down
the coee gently.
