13.Maintenance
Theactuatorsaremaintenance‐freeifusedundertheoperatingconditionsasdesignatedinthedatasheet.The
gearboxesarelubricatedforlifeanddonotrequirefurtherlubrication.
Caution!
Duringmaintenanceandrepairtheactuatormustnotbeoperated
electrically.
13.1Cleaning
Theactuatorsshouldbecleaneddryly.Donotuseabrasivecleaningagentsorcleaningproductscontainingsolvents
asthelabellingofthesafetystickersandthetypeplatemightbecomeillegible.Donotoperatetheactuatorduring
thecleaningprocess.
13.2Maintenance
Theactuatorshaveapre‐tensionedspringinside,thegearboxhousingmustnotbeopened.
DefectiveactuatorsshouldbereturnedtoourplantinBadDuerkheim,Germany,ortoour
representatives,tobecheckedfordamagesandtheirpossiblecauses.
