How to fix a noisy pumpa BLUE with high current consumption?
    • M
      Mark RichardsonJul 29, 2025
A noisy pump with high current consumption can stem from several issues. Loss of power to one phase of the mains supply could be the reason; a qualified person should measure the presence of voltage on all 3 supply phases. If the winding insulation is damaged, check cable insulation. For other causes, such as shortened or interrupted stator winding phases, worn or damaged bearings, or loose pump/motor tightening screws, send the pump to a service center. It is also recommended to measure the voltage of all phases.

What to do if my pumpa BLUE is running but not pumping water?
    • S
      Steven BarnettAug 8, 2025
If your pump is running but not delivering water, several issues could be the cause. First, check the water level; if it's low, try lowering the pump or deepening the borehole. Also, inspect for water leakage from the pipe; if there is any, repair pipe joint seals or replace leaking pipes. Another potential cause is a clogged suction throat; if this is the case, remove the pump from the power supply and clean it. If these steps don't resolve the issue, the pump rubber liner may be damaged, or the functional parts may have heavy wear and tear, requiring you to send the pump to a service center. Finally, check the motor rotation and swap any two phases if the direction is wrong.

Why is my pumpa BLUE Water Pump not starting?
    • Z
      Zachary CampbellAug 17, 2025
If your pump isn't starting, there could be several reasons. First, check if the electrical network has voltage; if not, contact the electricity provider. A fault in the mains power supply could also be the issue; an authorised person should inspect and repair this. Another possible cause is that the pump is clogged with deposits; remove any debris and allow the rotor to spin freely in the pump liner. In case the pump rotor has stuck (especially after first start-up or after a significant break), insert a suitable solid object into the rotor cavity of the pump when disconnected from the power supply and twist about 5 times to the left, then remove the object. If the electric motor has a fault, send the pump to the service center.
