Transferring the phonebook
Some mobile devices may not support the
automatic transfer of phonebook and call
protocol. To transfer the data manually, proceed
as follows:
1. Press the PHONE key.
2. Select tab OPTION.
3. Select menu option Transfer synchronising.
4. Permit the PCRN to access your phonebook
via the mobile device. For further details
about the general procedure please refer to
the manufacturer's operating instructions.
5. The transfer process is shown in the PCRN's
display.
Changing the pairing code
Some mobile devices require the PCRN's
bonding request to be explicitly conrmed at
the mobile device by entering a four-digit pairing
code. To dene a personal pairing code, proceed
as follows:
1. Press the PHONE key.
2. Select tab OPTION.
3. Select menu option Pairing code.
4. Enter the Pairing code and tap button OK.
By default the pairing code is set to '1234'.
Deleting the phonebook
To delete the phonebook, proceed as follows:
1.
Press the PHONE key.
2. Select tab OPTION.
3. Select menu option Delete phonebook.
Selecting the external or internal micro-
phone of the hands-free feature
The PCRN is tted with a hands-free microphone
in its front face (see information provided above
about general use and control elements). An
additional external microphone for installation in
the vehicle is included in the PCRN's supply. This
allows you to make calls without using a handset.
When a mobile device is bonded to the PCRN via
the Hands-Free Prole, calls are usually made
using the hands-free feature. To switch between
internal and external microphone, proceed as
follows:
1. Press the PHONE key.
2. Select tab OPTION.
3. Select menu option Microphone and switch
between internal and external microphone.
Sorting the phonebook
To sort the phonebook by rst or family name,
proceed as follows:
1. Press the PHONE key.
2. Select tab OPTION.
3. Select menu option Sort phonebook and
switch between First name or Last name.
The sorting sequence can only be changed
before the phonebook is sent.
