The
cutting
head
on
the
saw
is
shipped
preset
in
position
for
cutting
tiles
24"
or
smaller,
which
should
be
suitable
for
most
applications.

The

Tile
Saw
has
(2)
motor
speeds:
1750
&
2450
RPM
to
enable
the
operator
to
cut
or
profile
various
materials
at
the
speed
that
is
best
suited
for
the
application.
Please
see
page
8
for
changing
motor
speeds
and
see
below
for
recommended
speeds
for
different
blade
sizes.
The
saw
is
easy
to
operate,
but
for
safety
reasons,
read
all
of
this
manual
before
turning
the
unit
on.
The
power
knob
and
overload-reset
button
are
located
on
the
power-reset
housing
the
front
top
of
the
saw.
CUTTING
DEPTH
1.
The
recommended
cutting
depth
for
all
materials
is
%"
below
the
top
surface
of
the cutting
table.

2.
To
adjust
cutting
depth,
loosen
mounting
plate
adjustment
knob,
set
the
blade
height
and
tighten
the
adjustment
knob
securely.

The
saw
is
shipped
in
the
low-speed
position
(1750
RPM).
It
is
recommended
that
the
operator
use
this
speed
for
most
applications.
The
high
speed
(2450
RPM)
is
best
for
cutting
softer
ceramic
tile,
especially
when
cutting
a
lot
of
the
same
material
over
a
long
period
of
time.
It
is
also
recommended
that
the
low
speed
be
used
for
profile
wheels
(see
page
8
for
changing
speeds).
These
recommended
guidelines
are
based
on
6",
7",
8”
and
10"
QEP
tile
saw
blades.
The
saw
comes
standard
with
a
10"
QEP
#6-1003CR
Continuous-Rim
Diamond
Blade.
Recommended
cutting
depths
are
approximate
and
may
vary,
depending
on
the
brand
of
saw
or
blade.

WATER
TRAY
REPLACEMENT
1.
To
replace
the
water
tray,
remove
the
two
large
bolts
with
a
9/16"
!
wrench.
Remove
the
Aluminum
Table
Roller
Rail.
Keep
the
rail,
nuts,
bolts,
and
washers.
2.
Put the
new
Water
Tray
in
position.
replace
the
Aluminurn
Roller
Rail,
with
the
raised
rail
toward
the
center
of
the
Tray.
Replace
the
Bolts,
washers,
and
nuts,
and
tighten
securely.
