ADJUSTMENT

The

Tile
Saw
is
shipped
with
the
belt
set
for
the
lower
RPM
setting
-
(1750
RPM).
To
change
speeds:
|
1.
UNPLUG
THE
SAW
FROM
YOUR
POWER
SOURCE.
Loosen
and
remove
the
belt
guard
screws
and
take
off
the
belt
guard.

DO
NOT
loosen
the
(2)
front
motor-mount
screws.

4.
Gently
loosen
the
motor
adjustment
clip
on
the
very
rear
of
the
motor
.
mounting
plate.

Carefully
nudge
the
motor
slightly
forward
so
there
is
a
little
stack
in
the
belt.
6.
Holding
the
top
of
the
belt,
turn
the
belt
clockwise
while
pulling
the
belt
over
the
inside
pulley
lip
onto
the
outside
pulley.
Do
the
same
to
both
ends
so
that
the
belt
lines
up
in
a
straight
line.
7.
To
set
your
saw
at
the
LOW
speed
setting
(1750
RPM)
place
the
belt
in
the
smaller
OUTSIDE
pulley
grooves.
To
set
your
saw
at
the
HIGH
speed
setting
(2450
RPM)
place
the
belt
in
the
larger
INSIDE
pulley
grooves,
closest
to
the
motor
mount
casting.
8.
Slide
the
motor
back
so
that
the
belt
is
at
its
original
tension
and
retighten
the
motor-adjustment
bolt
and
the
rear
motor-mount
screws.
The
belt
should
not
be
too
tight.
Test
by
pinching
the
belt
in
the
middle
-
the
two
sides
should
give
a
little.
Turn
the
blade
by
hand
to
make
sure
the
motor
and
blade
turn
freely.

Replace
the
belt
guard.
10.
If
the
blade
will
not
turn
when
the
saw
is
restarted,
the
belt
is
too
tight.
Loosen
the
motor
adjustment
clip
and
restart
the
saw.

Reconnect
the
saw
to
your
power
source.

stand

The
stand
folds
for
compact
storage
and
transportation.

Place
Frame
W
inside
the
second
Frame
X,
and
secure
the
two
frames
with
the
5/16”
x
2”
bolts
as
shown.
2.
Set
the
stand
on
a
firm,
flat
and
level
surface.
Do
not
set
the
stand
on
soft
soil,
on
uneven
ground,
or
on
debris
in
the
work
area.
If
ground
is
soft,
use
a
piece
of
plywood
under
the
stand
to
provide
a
solid,
level
and
even
base
for
the
saw
stand.
3.
Secure
the
frame
of
the
saw
to
the
Optional
Stand
with
the
vertical
post
of
the
frame
toward
the
rear
of
the
stand.
4.
Make
sure
all
bolts
and
nuts
are
securely
tightened.
SAW
OPERATION
1.
Make
sure
you
have
read
this
manual
completely
before
operating
your
saw.
2.
Make
sure
that
there
is
sufficient
water
in
the
water
pan
to
cover
the
inlet
on
the
water
pump,
and
that
water
is
being
supplied
to
the
saw
blade
before
attempting
to
cut
any
material.
3.
Make
sure
your
material
is
positioned
properly
on
the
saw
table
before
beginning
your
cut.
Feed
your
material
slowly
into
the
blade.
DO
NOT
force
material.
The
blade
will
cut
smoother
and
faster
if
these
steps
are
followed.
4.
ALWAYS
practice
SAFETY
FIRST.
Wear
eye
safety
goggles,
a
dust
mask
and
gloves
when
operating
this
saw.
Discard
cracked,
bent,
chipped,
or
damaged
blades.
