Installation Requirements
Category Requirement
Environment Install the NAS in an environment that meets the following criteria:
• Room temperature: 0 to 40˚C (32 to 104˚F)
• Non-condensing relative humidity: 5 to 95%
• Wet-bulb temperature: 27˚C (80.6˚F)
• Flat, anti-static surface with no exposure to direct sunlight, liquids,
and chemicals
• Free from objects that may obstruct NAS ventilation or apply
pressure to the NAS or power cord
• Restricted access location
• Access can only be gained by service persons or users who
have been instructed about the reasons for the restrictions
applied to the location and about any precautions that shall be
taken.
• Access is through the use of a tool, or lock and key, or other
means of security, and is controlled by the authority
responsible for the location.
