If you're having trouble locating your QNAP NAS, it may be due to faulty drives or data. To resolve this, power off the NAS, remove all drives, and then power it back on. Use Qfinder Pro or myQNAPcloud to locate the NAS. Once found, reinsert the drives and continue with the QTS installation.

To replace a failed drive, log on to QTS, navigate to Main Menu > Storage Manager > Storage > Disks/VJBOD, and locate the failed drive. Prepare a new hard drive with the same or larger capacity. Remove the failed drive from the NAS, wait for 20 seconds or until the NAS beeps twice, then remove it from the drive tray. Insert the new drive into the tray and install it. After the NAS beeps twice, go to Main Menu > Storage Manager > Storage Space, find the volume containing the new drive, and verify that its status is Rebuilding.
