8. Connect all cables and external attachments.
9. Connect the power cord to the electrical outlet.
10. Power on the NAS.
11. Verify that the module is recognized by the NAS.
a. Log on to QTS as administrator.
b. Go to Main Menu > Control Panel > System > System Status > System Information .
c. Verify the value for Total memory.
Hot-swapping Redundant Power Supply Units
NAS devices with redundant power supply units (PSUs) support hot-swapping.
1. Disconnect the power cord from the electrical outlet and the PSU that you want to replace.
2. Press the latch toward the handle and then pull the PSU out.
