How to replace the weighing platform
Return the original unit
Prepare the box for shipping and
ax the prepaid return label.
Please return the original
unit within ten business days
to avoid being charged the
full replacement value of the
equipment.

Once you receive your replacement weighing platform, complete the steps below to replace
and return your damaged weighing platform.
Disconnect the weighing platform
Unplug the weighing platform
connector from the scale port
located on the back of the iX-1.
Remove the weighing platform
(a) from the mailing system.

Unpack weighing platform
Remove the replacement
weighing platform from the
box and place the original
unit into the box to return.

Power down
Power up
Re-zero the weighing platform
Disconnect the power
cable from the wall outlet.
This will turn o your iX-1.
Plug the power cable into the
wall outlet.
The system will power up
automatically.
Return to the iX-1 control panel
and press the key.
Use the scroll up button to select
supervisor, then press .

Install the weighing platform
Plug the weighing platform
connector into the scale port
located on the back of the iX-1.
Tuck the cable into the extra
space at the back of the system,
then place the weighing platform
on top of the iX-1.

Logout of supervisor mode
Press the button twice.
Your weighing platform is now
ready to use.
Press to access system
settings.
Press to re-zero the
weighing platform.
Remove all items from the weigh-
ing platform and press .
Press again to complete
the process.
