Why does my quadient DS-1200 G4i Digital Mailing system have doubles or stream-feeding occurring?
    • K
      Kathleen RossAug 25, 2025
Doubles or stream-feeding in your Quadient Digital Mailing system can occur due to several reasons. Ensure the correct document information is being used in Documents and Configuration. The separator gap might be too large. Dirty feed rollers, especially pickup rollers, can also cause this. Check the side guides and paper stack. Allow the stationery to settle for 24 hours near the machine before use. Also, check the relative humidity, which should be between 30-80%.

If paper is crashing at the entry to the collate pocket in your Quadient Digital Mailing system (under the lower conveyor), the collate pocket may be incorrectly set for the paper size. For example, it might be set to 'Letter' while using A4 paper. Check the document setup. Additionally, the collate pocket side guides may be incorrectly set, so adjust them using the green knob on the right-hand side.
