of installation to ensure adequate room for
outside air venting.

and national codes and regulations.
• Consult local building, re ocials or authorities
having jurisdiction about restrictions, installation
inspection, and permits.
CAUTION
NOTE: In Canada only a full reline is allowed per ULC
S628, ORD ULC C1482-M1990.

NOTE; Use metal plate around
exhaust vent pipe and seal all
edges with non-flammable insula-
tion such as mineral wool or
ceramic.
Do not use high temperature caulk-
ing materials to seal any edge to
prevent furture serviceability.
NOTE: In Canada this replace insert must be installed
with a continuous chimney liner extending from
the replace insert to the top of the chimney.
The chimney liner must conform to the Class 3
requirements of CAN/ULC-S635, Standard for
Lining Systems for Existing Masonry or Factory-
Built Chimneys and Vents, or CAN/ULC-S640,
Standard for Lining Systems for New Masonry
Chimneys.
