1. BG95/BG96 can only be used as a slave device.
2. BG95 USB interface is used for AT command communication, data transmission, software
debugging and firmware upgrade. However, in practical applications, the constant use of USB will
result in increased power consumption. Therefore, in power-sensitive applications, it is
recommended that USB is used for firmware upgrade only.
4.10. PCM and I2C Interfaces
BG95/BG96 provides one PCM digital interface and one I2C interface. A reference design of PCM and
I2C interfaces with an external codec IC is shown below.
