(6)wheremostoftherefrigerantcondenses.
Next,theliquidrefrigerantowsthroughdryer/lter(7)tocapillarytube(8).The
refrigerant leaves the capillary tube at evaporating pressure.
Therefrigerantentersevaporator(2)whereitwithdrawsheatfromthecompressedairby
furtherevaporationatconstantpressure.Theheatedrefrigerantleavestheevaporator
andissuckedinagainbythecompressor.
Thecondenser(6)pressuremustbekeptasconstantaspossibletoobtainstable
operation.Fancontrolswitch(P)thereforestopsandstartsthecondensercoolingfan.If,
underpartialornoload,theevaporator(2)pressuredropstoapproximately2.25bar(e)
(32.63psig),thehotgasbypassvalve(5)opensandhot,high-pressuregasisfedtothe
evaporator circuit to prevent the evaporator pressure from dropping any further.
Electronic condensate drain
Thedryerisequippedwithanelectroniccondensatedrain.Thecondensate,separated
by the condensate trap, accumulates inside the drain. Once the condensate reaches a
certain level, it is discharged through the drain outlet (1).
Thecondensatecanalsobedrainedbypressingthetestbutton(2).
Thedrainltercanbecleanedbyopeningthemanualdrainvalve(3),seesection
reventive Maintenance schedule.
