5.3 Starting
The operator must apply all relevant safety precautions, including those mentioned in this
instruction book
Normal starting procedure
1. Check the oil level: the level should be between the 2 lines on the sight-glass (SG) . Top up
if necessary, with the correct type of oil (see section Oil specification).
2. Close the manual condensate drains (see Drain connections).
3. Open the air outlet valve (customer's installation).
4. Switch on the voltage and check that voltage sign (5) lights up.
5. Press the start button on the Q-Control Touch (7). The compressor starts running and the
automatic operation sign (4) lights up.
6. From time to time, check the intercooler regulation (see next section).
When the compressor is stopped and automatic operation sign (4) is alight, the compressor
may start automatically.
If the timer function is active, the compressor may start automatically, even if it was
stopped manually.
