Oil is circulated by pump (OP) from the sump of the gear casing through oil cooler (Co) and oil
filter (OF) towards the bearings and the gears.
The oil system is equipped with a valve that opens if the oil pressure rises above a given value.
The valve is located before the oil filter housing.
2.5 Cooling system
QOfT compressors are provided with an air-cooled oil cooler (Co), an intercooler (Ci) and
an aftercooler (Ca). An electric motor driven fan (FN1) generates the cooling air.

• Pressure and temperature sensors
• Solenoid valves
