Connect
the
oscilloscope
to
monitor
the
1 MHz OUTPUT
socket
on
the
rear
panel
of
the
UUT.
Connect
a T
piece
to
the
frequency
standard
output
and
connect
one
end
of
the
T
piece
to
the
oscilloscope
external
trigger
input.

the
oscilloscope
to
External
Trigger
and
to
a
time
base
of
1 f-Is/cm.

Verify
that
the
amplitude
of
the
monitored
signal
is
at
least
3
volts
peak
to
peak.

UUT
rear
panel

observed

Set
the
oscilloscope
to External
Trigger.

the
frequency
standard
and
the
UUT
have
been
switched
on
for
at
least
one
hour
set
the
osci
Iloscope
time
base
speed
according
to
the
internal
frequency
standard
fitted.
Adjust
the
internal
frequency
standard
(if
necessary)
to
ensure
that
the
drift
of
the
displayed
waveform
is
less
than
1 cm in
10
seconds.
