logic

digital
indicator
'enable'
signals.
The
encoder
output
turns on a
d.p.
drive
transistor
at

correct
time

decimal
point.

selection.

circuits

'open
collector'
types.
For
these
lC's
discrete
'pull_up'
resistors
are
provided
in
the
circuit.
These
resistors
may
be
mounted
In
aled
dual-in-line
(d.i.l.)
packages,

R108
(Fig.
5)
which
has
thirteen
lk
-
resistors
with
a common
connection
to +5'1/.
Such
arrays
cannot
be
serviced
and
must be
changed
in
the
event
of a
faulty
resistor.
Another
type
of
resistor
array
comprises

containing
separate
resistors
of
identical
values,
for
example
R107
which
contains
eight
220 ohms res istors .
