First locate the Common Rail connection socket in your engine bay. The connection
socket to the Common Rail is located either at one of the ends or centrally on the
Common Rail and can be clearly identi ed by the large union nut. The best way to nd
the rail itself is by following the injection lines. These always lead directly into the
injection system, i.e., they can be traced back from the engine block.
