5. BASIC FUNCTIONS
Balance PS/X series enables determining mass in the following measuring units:

Apart from determining mass of weighed object using different measuring units, the
software balance PS/X series comprises the following working modes:
− Parts counting
− Checkweighing
− Dosing
− Percent setup
− Animal weighing
− Determining density of solids and liquids
− Formulation
− Statistics from completed measuring series
Both the measuring units and the working modes can be set as inaccessible in the
user menu. This option is implemented for the purpose of adjusting balance to user needs
and requirements, i.e. providing access only to those functions and units which are
required by a user.
Determining accessibility attribute of a working mode / measuring unit is set in
balance’s menu and it is described further in this user manual.
