Use hostnames to identify the sensor
In networks using a DHCP server, it is recommended that you address the
sensor by its unambiguous hostnames, see Chapter 3.7.3.3, "Using host-
names", on page 24.
A hostname is a unique identifier of the power sensor that remains perma-
nent as long as it is not explicitly changed. Hence, you can address a power
sensor by the same identification, irrespectively if a network or a point-to-
point connection is used.
