11.1 Inlet Hood Assembly

For an air handler supplied with a filter section a single hood is provided. For an air handler with inlet hood
mounted filters, two hoods are provided. To install inlet hood on an exterior wall, drill holes 8" (20.3 cm) in the
flanges of the inlet hood and mount with lag bolts (provided by others).The following hardware is supplied for
the assembly of the inlet hoods; #10 TEK self tapping screws, 3/8" nu ts/bolts/washers, 3/16" rivets and foam
gasket tape.
