2.SelectAccepttoacknowledgethedisclaimer
message.
Poweringtheunitoff
1.PressandholdthePowerbuttonfor
approximately6seconds.
Ondisplayproductsa3secondcount-downtimer
willbedisplayed.
Tocancelthepoweroffprocess,releasethe
powerbuttonbeforetheunitpowersoff.
Note:Theunitwillstilldrawasmallamountof
powerfromthebatterywhenpoweredoff,ifthis
isaconcernunplugtheconnectorfromtheback
oftheunit.
PowerSavemode
InPowerSavemodeallfunctionsofthemultifunction
displayremainactive,buttheunitisplacedinto
alowpowerstate.TheLEDlightsaroundthe
Rotarycontrollerwillblinkonceevery1.5seconds
toindicatethattheunitisinPowerSavemode.
PowerSavemodeiscancelledbypressingaphysical
buttonorwhenanalarmeventoccurs.
Note:T oensureusersafetythePowerSave
featurewillnotbeavailableif:
•anyconnectedRadarsareswitchedon
•themultifunctiondisplayisprovidingautopilot
controlinasystemwithoutadedicatedpilot
headandtheautopilotisengaged.
AttentionLeavinganMFDinPowerSavemode
willcontinuetoconsumesomepowerfromyour
vessel’sbatteries.Theunitcoulddrainyourbatteries
ifleftinPowerSavemodeforprolongedperiodsof
time.Whenswitchingoffthepowertoyourvessel,
ensurethattheunitispoweredoffusingthepower
button.Formoreinformationontheamountofpower
consumedbytheunitinPowerSavemode,referto
theTechnicalspecicationsectionofyourproduct’s
installationinstructions.
EnablingPowerSavemode
ToenablePowerSavemodefollowthestepsbelow.
1.Ensureanyradarsconnectedtothesystemare
switchedoff.
2.PressthePOWERbutton.
Theshortcutsmenuisdisplayed.
3.SelectPowerSaveMode.
ThemultifunctiondisplaysisnowinPowerSave
mode.
4.YoucanwaketheunitfromPowerSavemode
atanytimebypressingaphysicalbuttononthe
multifunctiondisplay.
Note:PowerSavemodeisautomaticallycancelled
ifanalarmeventoccurs.
Adjustingthedisplaybrightness
1.PressthePOWERbuttononce.
TheShortcutsmenuisdisplayed.
2.Adjustthebrightnesstotherequiredlevelusing
theon-screenbrightnesssliderbarcontrol,or
3.TouchtheSunicontoincreasethebrightness
levelortheMoonicontodecreasethebrightness
level.
Note:Thebrightnesslevelcanalsobeincreased
bypressingthePowerbuttonmultipletimes.
