Note:
Ifanelectronicsteeringorjogleverisused,fitdiodes(suggestedtype:1N4004)in-linewiththe
solenoidoutputstopreventback-feedingtheA CU.
Bypassvalveconnectionandvoltageswitch
Somedrivesfeatureanelectrically-operatedbypassvalvetominimizetheeffectonthesteering
whentheautopilotisinstandby .
Ifthedrivehasaseparatebypassvalve,connectittotheBypassconnectionontheACU,ensuring
thatthevoltageselectionswitchissetcorrectlyto12V/24Vasappropriate.
