Whenreplacinganexistingwindvaneitisimportantthatthelatesthardwaredesignisutilized.When
consideringwhatneedsreplacingthereare3options.
•Option1—Replacingwindvaneandbase.Ifthewindvanecableisingoodconditionbutyour
baseisanolderdesignthenyoucanreplacethewindvaneandbaseusingtheexistingcable.The
partsrequiredforthistypeofreplacementare:
–Replacementwindvaneshortarmassembly—R28170
–Replacementwindvanelongarmassembly—R28171
Note:Beforedecidingtok eeptheexistingcableyoumustensurethatsufficientslackexistsin
thecabletoallowfortheconnectortoberemovedandrefittedtothebase.
•Option2—R eplacingwindvaneonly.Ifthewindvanecableisingoodconditionandthebase
