Usingtheracetimer
OncetheRacetimerhasbeensetyoucanusethetimerby
followingthestepsbelow:
1.WhenontheRacetimerscreenPresstheRIGHTSOFTbutton
andselectQuickoptionsformthemenu
2.ToadjustatimersettingselectAdjuststarttimer.
i.UsetheUPandDOWNbuttonstoselecteithertimer1,2,or3.
ii.UsetheUPandDOWNbuttonstochangethetimervalueto
therequiredsettingandpressSELECTtoconrm.
3.TostartthetimerselectStarttimerfromtheQuickoptions
menu.
4.TopausethecurrentrunningtimerselectStopTimer.
5.ToresumethetimerscountdownselectRESUMEfromthe
Quickoptionsmenu.
6.ToresetthecurrenttimerselectResetTimer.
7.Oncethetimerreacheszerocountupshallbeginautomatically.
8.ToskiptothenexttimerpresstheSKIPkey.
9.Whilstthetimerisrunningyoucanviewotherfavoritepages
asnormal.
Audiblebeepsshallbesoundedatdenedintervalstoalertyou
tothetimerstatusasfollows:
•Doublebeepeveryminute.
•BeepThreetimesatthestartofthelast30seconds.
•Beepeverysecondforthelast10seconds.
•Beepfortwosecondswhenthetimerreacheszero
Alarms
Alarmsareusedtoalertyoutoasituationorhazardrequiringyour
attention.
Someexamplesofalarmsare:
•Anchoralarm—Usedwhenanchored,thisalertsyoutoa
changeindepthwhichcouldmeanthatthechainlengthrequires
adjusting.
•Depthandspeedalarms—Thesealarmsalertyouwhenyour
depthorspeedmovesoutsideofspeciedlimits,forexample
aminimumdepth.
•MOB(ManOverboard)alarm—ReceivedfromanMOBsystem.
Whenanalarmoccurs,amessageisdisplayedandanaudible
alarmmaysound.
Youcaneither:
•Silencethealarm,or
•Silencethealarmandeditthealarmsettings.
Note:Withtheexceptionofalarmclock,speedandseatemp
SeaTalksystemswillonlybeabletoswitchalarmson/off,
