up>Autopilotcalibration>Dealersettings.Onceenteredthe
dealersettingsmenuwillcyclethroughallavailableoptions.
Optionsandlimitsaredependentonthecoursecomputerinstalled.
5.7Seatrialcalibration
Oncedocksidecalibrationhasbeencompleted(Dealersettingsfor
SeaTalksystems),navigatetoaplacewhereyouhaveplentyofsea
room,thencarryouttheseatrialcalibrationprocedurestocomplete
theSmartPilotsystemcommissioning.
Seatrialcalibrationcontainsthefollowingsteps:
•Compasscalibration.
•Autolearn.
YoucanaccesstheSeatrialcalibrationmenuatanytime
fromthefollowingMenu>Setup>Autopilotcalibration>
Commissioning.
Note:Sailingvesselsshouldperformtheseatrialunderengine
power.
Warning:Seatrialcalibration
Ensureyouhavesufcientsearoomforcalibration.
Theseatrialcalibrationmaneuversrequireaclear,
familiarareaofwater.Ensureyouarenotlikelyto
collidewithanyvesselorotherobstructionduring
calibration.

Theautopilotmaymakeunexpectedturns.
Calibratingthecompass
Beforeyoucanuseyourautopilotyouneedtodosomeopenwater
checks.Thewatermustbecalm,withlightornowind.Leaveplenty
