SeaTalk system with dedicated power supply
You can use a separate power supply to power the SeaTalk system if required. In this
instance do NOT connect the SeaTalk RED wire at the SPX SmartPilot SEATALK
terminal.
NMEA 0183 / other manufacturers’ equipment
Most Raymarine equipment will connect to your data system via SeaTalk
ng
or SeaTalk
(except for A-series, which connects via NMEA 0183). Other manufacturers’
equipment connects via NMEA cabling.
