Why does the RCM Scrubber squeegee not dry perfectly?

  The squeegee might not dry perfectly due to several reasons: worn squeegee rubbers (replace them), a fouled squeegee (clean it), a foreign body jammed in the squeegee (remove it), a fouled suction pipe (clean it), improper squeegee adjustment (adjust it), an open water drain faucet (close it), a burnt suction motor (replace it), worn suction motor carbon brushes (replace them), a faulty squeegee actuator (replace it), or a clogged suction filter (clean it).

  If the machine doesn't start, ensure the main key switch is inserted and turned clockwise. Check the battery and charge it if the display indicates a problem. If the main fuse is blown, contact the RCM Authorized service staff before replacing it. Also, check the microswitch under the seat for faults (replace if necessary) and ensure the emergency stop button is released before attempting to restart.

Why the RCm Jumbo Scrubber suction motor switches off or does not start?

  The suction motor might switch off or not start because the float-switch on the recovery tank has cut off the power. This is indicated by a flashing symbol on the display. Immediately turn off the suction motor and empty the recovery tank. Another reason could be a fouled float switch, in this case release the float switch and clean it.

What to do if the RCm Jumbo Scrubber detergent solution does not reach the brushes?

  If the detergent solution isn't reaching the brushes, the detergent solution filter may be fouled (clean the filter). Also, check if the solution faucet is not opening (check the faucet), the feeding pipe may be squashed (restore or replace the pipe), the tank may be without water (fill the tank), or the brushes may be much worn (replace the brushes).

Why the RCM Scrubber machine does not clean properly?

  The machine may not clean properly due to insufficient pressure of the brushes on the floor, which is caused by a bad potentiometer on the dashboard. Replace the potentiometer to resolve this.

  If the machine doesn't start or stops suddenly, check if the batteries are disconnected and connect them. Also, the operator getting up may cause the microswitch under the seat to cut off the power supply. Sit down and operate the travel controls.

  If the machine does not travel forward or reverse, the connection of the accelerator pedal may be disconnected, or the microswitch may be faulty. Restore the connection or replace the microswitch.

  If the detergent solution is not flowing evenly onto the brushes, the pipelines which supply water to the brushes may be fouled. Clean the pipes to resolve this issue.

  If the squeegee does not lift and does not low, check if the actuator receives current. If not, there may be a problem on the electronic unit, in this case contact the RCM Authorized service staff. Otherwise, the actuator motor may be damaged, replace it.
