Latched Position

Head position when latched to trailer; indicator shows 100% GREEN for proper connection.

Unhitching Position

Head position when unhitching the trailer; indicator shows RED for disengagement.

Make Sure Trailer is Secure

Ensuring trailer stability with blocks/chocks and lowered landing gear before unhitching.

Make Sure Truck is Ready to Unhitch

Disconnecting electrical/breakaway cables and lowering tailgate before unhitching.

Maintenance

Every Use

Apply grease to skid plate, jaw, and kingpin for lubricated surface after each use.

Annually;As Required

Lubricate internal mechanisms and pivot assemblies annually or as needed.
