Note!
If the safety temperature limiter has tripped, note the following:
Immersion heater has not yet been used:
The safety temperature limiter has been tripped by storage below -12°C.
Set the sensor temperature to 20°C and then unlock the safety temperature limiter. (see chapter 7.1 "Unlocking the safety
temperature limiter" on page 12 )
Immersion heater has already been used:
The cause of the tripping of the safety temperature limiter may be damage to the immersion heater.
Do not unlock the safety temperature limiter.
Replace the immersion heater as a unit.
Note!
Electrical testing, maintenance and repair work and the elimination of faults must be performed by a trained electrician.

Unlocking the safety temperature limiter
DANGER
Risk of serious injury or death due to electric shock.
If live parts are touched, there is risk of life-threatening injuries.
Ensure that the system is voltage-free before installing the device.
Ensure that the system is secured and cannot be reactivated by other persons.
Ensure that installation work for the electric connection of the device is carried out by an electrician, and in compliance with electrical engineering
regulations.
WARNING
Risk of injury due to overheating
Incorrect functioning of the safety temperature limiter can cause the device to overheat resulting in severe injuries.
If the safety temperature limiter has tripped during operation, to not unlock it.
Replace the screw-in immersion heater as a unit.
The safety temperature limiter can only be unlocked, if it has been tripped due to a storage temperature below -12°C.
Unlock takes place below the device protective cover.
Proceed as follows:
1. Disconnect the device from electrical power sources.
2. Secure the device against unintended reactivation.
3. Remove the plastic plug on the plastic housing of the device.
The plastic plug is located below the temperature control.
