RECOMISSIONING CHECKLIST
ENGINE/STERN DRIVE
Check all components per engine manufacturer’s owner’s
manual especially fl uid levels.
Run engine on “ear muffs” before launching. Check for fuel,
exhaust, oil, and water leaks.
BOAT
Install drain plug.
Install battery and tighten all terminals.
Check all equipment, switches, alarms, gauges and breakers
for proper operation.
Add necessary chemicals and water to chemical head.
Add water to fresh water tank. Turn on faucet to purge tank.
Refi ll water tank and sanitize water.
Make sure all safety gear is on board and in excellent working
condition.
After launching, check controls and gauges for proper
operation.
TRAILER
Make sure all equipment is in working condition.
