Regency® P33E-4 Zero Clearance Direct Vent Gas Fireplace
MAINTENANCE
REMOVING VALVE
1) Shut off the gas supply.
2) Remove the louvers (and bay door if installed.)
3) Open the fl ush door and remove the door.
4) Remove the logs.
5) Remove the burner/grate assembly by removing the two screws
and then lift the burner assembly out.
Diagram 1: Remove the left and right screws and then lift out the
burner/grate assembly.
6) Remove the rear log stand by removing the 2 screws.
7) Disconnect the inlet gas line.
8) Disconnect the EV1, EV2, and ground wires from the valve - as
shown below.

INSTALLING VALVE
1) Install new valve assembly.
2) Reverse steps 9-1.
Diagram 3: Lift out Valve Tray Assembly
9) Remove the 10 screws securing the valve tray assembly in place
(diagram 2) and then lift the entire assembly out (diagram 3).

10) Remove valve tray assembly.
