MACH-Air™ VAV Controller
Motor Calibration
2002 Reliable Controls™ Corporation
Motor Calibration
The MACH-Air™ VAV controller must be calibrated for proper
motor operation. The calibration drives the motor to
determine the full range of actuation and then stores this
range in memory.
To calibrate the motor, the MACH-Air™ VAV controller must
be properly installed and connected to the damper that it will
be controlling.
Calibration
There are three ways to calibrate the MACH-Air™ motor:
1. Self Calibration - when power is applied or reset to the
MACH-Air™ VAV controller, it self calibrates ensuring the
calibration cycle is completed.
2. RC-Toolkit™ Software - calibration can be achieved with the
MACH-Air™ Motor Calibration Utility found in the software. The
procedure must be performed using a workstation connected as
outlined in PC Communications above.
3. SETUP-Tool™ - refer to the SETUP-Tool™ Quick Start Guide for
further information.
